Spitfire Lures - Logo & Positioning Statement
Spitfire Lures are a Victorian based small business, designing salt water fishing lures for the Australian market. The Marketing Mix was asked to create a logo and positioning statement for Spitfire, which would be flexible across a range of products and applications.
Our Creative Director, Aron designed the logo around the famous Spitfire aircraft, with fishing hooks in the place of machine guns. The logo features a bright red colour which changes depending on the product being referred to. A custom background branding element was also created, based on the metal panels and rivets of the plane’s construction. The positioning statement “Go to WAR with a SPITFIRE!” encompasses the company’s image and gives a unique twist to the fishing industry.
